backdrop and post-production graphics by me. inspired by vintage postcards, i designed a backdrop of a winding canyon road overlooking a beach sunset. i employed a mix of textures with plenty of different halftone elements, contrasted digitally designed elements and photographed imagery to create a vibrant collage effect. for the photo’s graphic frame, i went with similar techniques from the backdrop for synergy using a vivid, halftone leopard print with scattered hearts and of course, alabama worley’s iconic “you’re so cool” in lieu of the typical “wish you were here” for the postcard’s tagline.
