about: tacos güey tasked me with creating an illustration to be used for promotional purposes ahead of cinco de mayo. building off an existing mural featuring the little skeleton dude located in their restaurant space, i utilized a combination of image tracing and freehand drawing techniques to bring this illustration to life in a new way. i added additional flag and surfboard graphics, per the clients request, and recolored the finished products for a more festive feel.
