production set shopping by me. as a huge, personal fan of this film (it is the best pride movie, in my opinion) and knowing the specific color palette of every set and every scene, it was a given that all elements needed to be painted. ie., i thrifted the table, chairs, tea set, vacuum, picture frame, and the candlestick set, horse statuette and vintage candy dish on the mantle.
