costumes and wig sourced and styled by me. accessories handmade by me. starting off with kendall’s look, i wanted to emulate bellatrix’s gothic, leather and lace vibe. to do this, i chose a black lace dress layered under a black silk wrap dress with tulip sleeves, and a velvet and satin waist cincher with lace detailing. i also sewed a pair of leather, elbow-length fingerless, grommed lace-up gloves. i also dressed chloe and audrey for our honeyduke’s pop-up in matching 40s-era swing dresses and branded aprons to suit the old fashion candy shoppe feel of the pop-up. wayfinding signage by me. in line with the retro aesthetic, i chose to brand the toyota-sponsored honeyduke’s pop-up using wayfinding signage consisting of a victorian-era lamp post with directional signage fastened to the sides of the post.
